HilariousComparing America to the fall of the Roman Empire. Not conquered by an enemy but rather crumbled from within.
It's a bit melodramatic.

So when did this empires (USA) destruction start? Or was it Trumps win that started it?Well, not so much America as Western Civilisation and it really isn't that melodramatic. ALL empires, all civilisations fall but I'm sure all of them believed themselves to be utterly permanent. The Romans couldn't see it coming, but it came. The Egyptians couldn't see it coming, but it came. Nothing lasts forever, ergo all empires crumble and all in their own individual ways but their demises all share the characteristics of being pretty self-satisfied and morally decadent. It will be no different with this one - we just can't see it coming.

Nothing is forever thats for sure. That's up to you to decide, ultimately, I suppose, but as you have to concede, nothing lasts forever and no empire or civilisation ever willingly and knowingly threw its hand in.
The way I see it, Trump (and his moronic lemming-like cheerleaders) are symptomatic of the West's decline, not a cause of it.

This is why I really don't see why him winning is that negative a thing, indeed it is probably preferable to a Clinton win.
The reaction to him winning is likely going to be that people - across the political spectrum - getting more involved in politics and less trusting of politicians and the media. The reaction to her winning would have been apathy, disengagement and further decline. The last thing Western society needs is more of that sort of thing.
