The rain, it raineth every day
Another humdinger.

He loved that story. The parents and sister dying part was just boring he just wanted to get back to the flying kid.
It's strange and sad really how someone like that can be a whole great nation's representative.
Taking politics aside, just in my lifetime i think some of the American Presidents have been extraordinary people and captivating public speakers. I always loved listening to Reagan talk as a kid, he just seemed really warm and friendly. As i grew older and watched videos of him i enjoyed how genuinely funny he was and what a great sense of timing he had. And how hard he worked to memorise his "off the cuff" jokes. He was quietly spoken, measured but people never talked over him. He was an extraordinary public speaker.
Bill Clinton just had charisma and natural charm and a way with words.I enjoyed listening to him speak too.
And Obama was an incredible public speaker. He could do lightheaded and witty comedic, soft and tragic, heavy with gravitas...and never to me sounded false.
Bush senior bored me and Bush jr was...well, probably better than Trump.
Anyway thanks for joining me on this pointless meander to meet the Presidents through the windmills of my mind.
I wish I could hit a bing with you friendo. Bush jr has THEE BEST quotes imo. Top of the range.
Oh for comedy soundbites no doubt. Although when every comedian on telly was doing jokes about him being stupid it got very boring, very fast.
This could be my favourite George jr moment...it's so perfect it could have been in a movie.

Trump might be the best thing that has happened to gw bush, he has seemed extremely presidential after the last 3 years by comparisonIt's strange and sad really how someone like that can be a whole great nation's representative.
