They sure do. Their attitudes toward the flag are so bizarre. On one hand, these “patriots” vilify every professional athlete who dares to take a knee during the national anthem, citing “disrespecting our flag and our troops”. Meanwhile almost none of them see any problem with flying a Rebel flag right alongside it and somehow missing how unpatriotic it is to fly a flag that was carried into battle by of a group of men who so badly wanted to NOT be a part of this nation that they spent four years killing American soldiers trying to earn that right.
There were quite a few of these folks upset this week when the Marine Corps banned the display of the Rebel flag on it bases. How in the world had that not be banned years ago? Also, their are several US military bases still named after Confederate generals. Yet people defend naming stuff after these traitors claiming “you can’t take away our history”. I know displaying Nazi symbols is very much prohibited in Germany, and rightly so. Why would anyone want to continue to celebrate their nation’s darkest hour decades, or centuries after the fact?
