Sondland not falling on his sword for Trump
Senate Republicans will move the goalposts just like their House colleaguesTrumps done for, impeachment is a big possibility now.
Was particularly amusing the bit where Nunes said to Sondland “expect to be smeared” meaning the democrats but odds have to be high that Trump tweets out something derogatory before the hearing is finished.Nunes really believes that stamping his feet and yelling the whole time is going to get his boss off the hook and make him look like a good boy, doesn't he?

Nunes being honest would be an unusual development!Or he just being honest, given that he's about to chuck a group of senior Republicans under a bus.

Don’t think either Schiff or Nunes knew Sondland was going to flip so completely or they would have given different opening statements.
Breathtaking stuff from Sondland.
Trump plainly guilty as sin on this. It's shocking that there's not enough moderate Republicans to put the country ahead of themselves and boot the criminal out.
Would be also interesting to know how much Roger Stone’s conviction for lying to congress “refreshed” his memory - if you are a rich, successful businessman you probably didn’t plan on the cushy ambassador job you paid $1million for would end up with a spell in prison...He's struck first. I think Trump was going to blame him for what happened and that he'd gone rogue. So he's went on the attack first.
Only explanation I can think of for this performance.
