I think nothing unless he is impeached and convicted, but that is because I am guessing it gets to SCOTUS and SCOTUS rules that you can't indict a sitting president.

That's a king if they vote that way. There literally no repercussions for a sitting president would be their argument. So he could do whatever he wants and SCOTUS will say "well that's on (the legislative)"

Founders put a lot of faith in the legislative branch. Co-equal and all that. The members of that branch are currently letting the founders down.
