From what I see, those on the fringes of the cult or those supporting the cult leader because, well, go, rah-rah GOP team(!!) remain virtually silent. Privately I'm getting messages of real concern from conservatives for the first time.
Today a 6th member of the Texas GOP delegation to the House announced his retirement. Mac Thornberry is in a very safe seat. He has no real challenger. He's only 61 years old. I think he knows well that the House numbers are going to be even worse for the GOP in 2020 and he's getting out while the getting is good.
This is absolutely nuts. I didn't serve my country to allow this mental case ruin this great nation.
If he continues down this road he will lose military support.
This guy forgets that the branches of military would not fight with him if he insists on instigating a civil war. Sure the kooks and ardent supporters will jump ship and help whatever his deranged side is. But the powers that be that control each branch would close ranks and meet to decide how to handle it until directed by a sane person in government.
How far is enough for the GOP? When they became spineless that's when they lost my support. Until they right the wrongs and do something it will remain that way.

Very limited history to compare to re polling on impeachment but in such a partisan environment 55% for at least starting the process seems pretty high.

He absolutely isn't - and it will be even worse if the Dem nominee is someone from the left, or Harris.
That is a hell of a swing within a week, particularly in the indy numbers.
