The Republican party and right media is obsessed with AOC. Yet they don't care about the stupid guff trump spouts nor the mad insane stuff some of its senators and congressmen say on a daily basis.

AOC is not the darling of the democrats. If you followed politics and didn't just read fight leaning media you would know she has been in disagreements with several of the senior people on the left.

But of course you won't know that because you only say what fox wants you too. What the new propaganda media on the right wants you to believe.

You are laughing at AOC and your party is obsessed yet several conservative members are in hot water for things they say. A couple of them may face jail time and yet not a word on their stupidity. Not a word on how a mentally insane man has control of your party. Lying to yourself if you think Trump is the answer for the GOP going forward.

But tell us again how Owen's is great at owning Democrats because of her debate skills.

I swear.a bunch of accounts were created way back and periodically they get triggered to come in and talk nonsense. That or there is just so many gullible people out there.

If you read back I replied to someone saying she is ‘ an incredible young woman ‘.

To which I completely disagree. So of course the focus was on her.

It sits right there with the narrative of the right. Focus on AOC and her flaws.

Soliciting help from a foreign can itself be a crime
where it gets into a gray area is how you define “thing of value” - most people would consider damaging information valuable but does it meet the legal definition? I don’t recall anyone being charged on it but given the murkiness previous campaigns (on both sides of aisle) have tried to distance themselves by outsourcing it to an external firm/individual or to use supposedly “independent journalist’s” reporting that get funded by sympathetic donors.

The bit where I’d say this occasion is substantially different is the president himself asking the foreign government directly. If it had just been Giuliani doing all the legwork on this with a less explicit nod and wink from Trump it would probably have been passed off as business as usual. However it appears that Giuliani has been working with the State department which is a taxpayer funded agency and, at least in theory, not part of the presidential re-election campaign.

Also Trump has been asking for Ukraine to meet directly with Giuliani - given his position Trump can’t make any request really as a private individual, his words and actions carry the weight of the president of the United States at all times and that is even before you get into the “coincidence” that aid was being delayed.

Just because I have differing opinions on a few things that doesn’t fit with your own opinions, and others on here, doesn’t mean I’m less fun and ‘ something happened ‘.

Just because I haven’t jumped on the trump is a racist and is destroying America bandwagon, doesn’t mean I’ve changed, will hold a grudge against those that have.

Because the trump thread was where I saw the numerous ‘ AOC is an incredible woman’. So why would I choose another thread of start a new one in reply to that.

Nicely done though. The nerve to say the focus is on AOC and her flaws, and ignoring everything Trump says and does.

Frankly the fact you think Candace Owen's would wipe the floor with her tells us all where you stand.

You could have mentioned many of the actual solid debaters in the GOP past and present. Instead you picked the paid for opinion ignorant woman who is frankly clueless.

The irony is you miss the point I was making. We are in a thread about a man who isn't even close to being on the same level of AOC debate nor intelligence and if I look back your only other co contribution was to say how great trump.is and we need him for 4 more years.

If you think trump and Owens are intelligent you dont have to say anymore.

Actually I am incorrect here. An act does not have to be unlawful to impeach a president.
However, in this moment in time with norms thrown out the window, it will have to be an explicit, provable serious crime for impeachment to have a chance

*serious crime - personal profiteering off the Presidency doesn't seem to meet criteria
