Apparently Trump and Giulianni (now his lawyer) talked to the president of Ukraine and asked him to dig up dirt on Biden's son Hunter. A member of the US intelligence community saw that this was illegal and reported it to the DNI (office of the director of national intelligence). Word leaked about this whistleblower and the DNI is refusing to release the details to congress which is also illegal.

Also. How many “impeachable offences” are we up to now guys. I LOVE Wittes blog,(lawfare) but that word has lost meaning to me, every other week is a new “this is it boys, he’s going to be impeached”, if you where an enemy of the US and wanted to see infighting. You’d be pissing yourself with joy over the past few years.
Imagine most charges and revelations will come once he’s left office or is dead.
If he loses the next election I’m looking forward to his handover to his successor. Be crazy
What seems different this time (v. the 2,856 other utterly scandalous events) is the near-dead silence on my social media feeds from the Cheeto zombies who reflexively defend their Twitter Overlord. Is this the case for others here?
