What I found disturbing is that our next prime minister doesn’t back him publicly and stand up for the diplomatic service and the UK.

Since when does any foreign leader choose the UK ambassador for their country which is what effectively he did......embarrassing

Bojo the clown is supposed to be the man that will lead the trade negotiations with the US once were out of the EU ???

Don’t be silly. If May told the USA or indeed any other country that we would not deal with an Ambassador then I’m pretty sure that the Ambassador would be removed, because they could no longer do their job. All this nonsense of backing our man served what purpose ?...personally I’d be much happier if the spooks and the police were crawling all over this to find out who provided the info. This is a mega security leak with implications going much further than someone getting upset. Boris is not even a Minister. The two responsible are May and Hunt yet Boris is getting the blame. Something smells here.....

Neither May or any other Prime Minister would refuse to deal with an ambassador....that is just stupid and counter productive.

The Ambassador himself said that he resigned when Boris wouldn’t back him like Hunt did and I’m no fan of either.

Yes the leaker is the real culprit but let’s be honest he was absolutely right about Trump and the utter clown has proved the ambassador right.

But Boris should be saying absolutely no one decides who serves in the diplomatic service for the UK apart from the UK government. Instead he basically said nothing except that he won’t drag the civil service into politics which is too late.

He hung him out to dry......pathetic really from let’s be honest the next prime minister.

Are we going to be ruled by Trump with this clown in charge ?

This is a Foreign Office led civil service stitch up. It won’t work of course but nonetheless that’s what it is......

Evidence mate..do you work in the Civil Service or do you regard them as parasites stopping the private sector from accumulating loads of money in tax havens? Selfishtorycrap...
