Hardly racism, is it?

Both campaigns were build on an ideology of getting rid of people who weren't born in U.K./USA. That was their main agenda.

Anyone who voted for that isn't worth respecting, IMO.

What about all the good immigrants bring? For example, the NHS would collapse without overseas doctors.

It is interesting the age demographics in both campaigns that swung it. The younger, more tolerant generation have lost.

The only hope is that in the future, we won't see results like this as the bigoted generation die out.

It is racism due to the fact that you are just assuming that those were the only issues on the table and assuming that every person who voted, did so with the intention of ejecting immigrants from the country.

Ridiculous post.

Politicians haven't listened to the public and that's why these results have happened. Not some mad upsurge in racial hatred from over half the UK AND US populations.

I'm not backing Trump. I did back Brexit. But your post is so inaccurate, petty, and absurd. Get out there and try change opinions if you feel so strongly rather than throwing stones from your perceived moral high ground.

racism undoubtedly played a part in driving up turn out and appealing to people who wouldn't ordinarily vote. it's simply not credible to deny this.

but hillary lost because trump won majority-white states and counties that voted for obama in 2012, and that is a critical part of the story too.
