Donald Trump for President Thread

Getting bad Brexit vibes from this... But my head tells me the populated areas of the country will win out over the hillbilly racists on this one.

You're not another one who thinks 17.4 million people in the UK are deluded racists are you?

2016 has illustrated how incredibly sheltered and naive a lot of people are. It's as if they think we're supposed to trust what politicians say. Both sides of the EU referendum lied through their teeth, and for some reason, a lot of people thought we had elected Vote Leave, so had to immediately start spending £350m a week on the NHS (which they never actually said). Same with Trump, people think it will be the end of the world because he comes out with rhetoric that is clearly targeted at a certain section of Americans. The man isn't stupid, he wouldn't build a wall on the Mexican border.

It comes from years of the now obvious conditioning from biased liberal media such as the BBC and the Guardian, and everyday things like signs on building sites that says 'Thank EU' (even though the UK pays more in to the EU than it ever gets back, so any thanks should be to the UK tax payer, not the EU) - biggest scam going. Same in the US - any mention of controlling immigration now means you get labelled as a xenophobe and racist. Since when was it racist to implement a controlled immigration policy, rather than letting everyone in to the country?

Nobody thinks that all 17.4M are racist.

Then why is it even brought up? The referendum campaign was dominated by immigration, but there was no sensible debate. Every time anyone mentioned the concept of 'controlled immigration', they were branded racist. It is symptomatic of the horrible culture of extreme lefty's virtue signalling and shouting down free speech just because it doesn't conform to their view on the world. Gets right on my nipples!

Sure, some people who vote to leave were racist, as were some who voted to remain. It just wasn't a decisive or even relevant factor in the referendum. The constant sniping at Brexiters as racist, xenophobic, suicidal thickos is extremely hypocritical.

I said all 17.4M.

I still think that there are millions of racist people in the UK and the US.

It's a like a child's comfort blanket for them.

Nah, around 4.3 million is my guess.

Nobody thinks that all 17.4M are racist.

Lads, the EU thread is still open. I appreciate that there are similarities going on with tonight and the EU vote, but please, lets try and keep this US Centric.
