ITS TIME TO GO!!!!
I'm not sure that's true about 'bang for our buck' but I'm knackered and can't be arsed to argue.Do you think thats an accurate representation of our fanbase? A faceless idiot online.
Granted i dont think he'll go down as a fans favourite but he's also done ok out of Everton. We've got very little bang for our buck for about 5 years.

I think most of us appreciate the effort when he does play, but also accept that he doesn't contribute enough as he is always injured so has to goWell im not here to argue mate im just saying what i see. I think its around 10 goals or so from open play in about the last 5 years. Is there another club in the world in a top flight league that tolerates that.

Watch Beto’s hold up play in the first half against Chelsea the other week and I think you will have a different view on who is better. I do agree though on which style of play I prefer to watch.Actually prefer how we play into Beto. Balls in behind because we know that’s the type of finish he wants. I don’t think Calvert Lewin’s hold up play is actually that much better than Beto’s (which is improving)

Despite being at virtually every home game during his stint I must have missed most of that bar the odd few games.Well it's hard to outline things that are intangible. Hold up play, winning aeriel duals, linking play, getting us up the pitch etc.
Being pedantic it looks like it could be 52.184 weeks in a year. That’s another 0.184 weeks for DCL to be injured in.I’m in aus mate so used the dollar sign as it’s on the keyboard
Nice that you picked up on that but failed to realise that a year is 52 weeks
The issue we have here is that he thought he held all the aces and would have been demanding £xxxx last year to stay, given the club remained an absolute car crash. Unfortunately for him, we now find ourselves in an amazing position, where the future is full of hope and belief, a future unfortunately I’d be surprised if he was still here come September. Being the main man in a garbage squad on top dollar was easy enough, but the days of us settling for mediocrity are hopefully about to turn rapidly and huge earners with little output, will hopefully be a thing of the past. I don’t have an issue with Calvert Lewin, the stars have not aligned and the timing of everything will be to his downfall. I wish him well, he’s goes his way, we go ours, but I know which way will be heading to better times. I’d by some mad reason he does stay, his wage would need to reflect a squad player rather than top dog, and he will deffo seek a better wage elsewhere, possibly last big contract of his career.I’d defo keep DCL but it’ll come down to wages. I can see the argument to part ways but still think he’s a very good pl squad player, if not guaranteed starter.
