Meh it is what it is. A new striker is a priority either way so if the choice is keep DCL, sell Beto for 20 mill or lose DCL for nothing and keep Beto, I'd rather they do this. Despite Beto being better at finishing.

I like DCL but the injuries are ridiculous now.
If he stayed on a 3year deal then I'd expect, in fact i think we'd all expect a Liam Delap level or transfer record breaking new superstar centre forward.
Thats the only way it makes sense if big money is used elsewhere.
