2024/25 Dominic Calvert-Lewin

I hope to see Dominic Calvert-Lewin fit again and be given the chance to play a few more games for us before the season ends. It would be interesting to see how Moysie uses him and Beto when they are both fit, now that Beto has found his feet and is scoring.

Be a hard man that gives him mins over Beto on current form mate.

Especially as the crow flies, him not being an Everton player next season.

Dont see much point in investing much time or resource in him if he's not going to be here.

I was thinking more of if Moysie would play them together or maybe rotate them to help against fatigue etc. type of thing. I mean April looks a killer month for us fixture wise, and we're going to need as many players and options available to us as possible.

The first 2 games are close to each other but the others are a full week apart. I wouldn't expect fatigue to be an issue.

Fair point, well said mate! ;)

If he comes and contributes - great.

We must be getting to a stage were we have to start planning without him and looking at giving the nod to lads who will/could be here.

Think Broja, may be expected back before him to.

True, I think it's a case of thinking about life without Dominic Calvert-Lewin, unless there's some sort of turnaround with a new contract.

I forgot all about Broja, I liked what I saw of him in the few games he played, if he could stay fit he'd be a good option for us.

Still not been an update on his progress since shortly after it happened when they said it was better than first feared but still a, very vague, "number of weeks away" is the most info we have had on his return.

Has DCL been put on gardening leave, but the club not telling anybody?
He pulled a hamstring didn't he?
I would expect a few weeks, but the club should be saying he is "back on the grass", or some news.
No sight or sign of him since he went off injured.

Be surprised if we see him play for us again tbh. Interested to see where he’ll end up and how he’ll do.
Moyes will be looking at next season now. I would think that of all the players out of contract, Gana might be the one we try to keep the most. Reckon we might see Doucoure stay as well.
Think all the loanees apart from Alcaraz will be off.

I cant, hes a quitter and will quit next chance he doesnt get his way(which will happen), and was given years and years and showed up with nothing.

Beto is on pace to put up a better season than all but 18 months of DCLs career, in less than 1000 minutes. Thats how bad of a finisher DCL is.
