You seem to be confusing whether teams can afford 150k a week with whether teams will pay 150k a week. Bosmans get high wages when they're in demand starters, not when they're unwanted backups.

He will be getting offers a lot lower than the offers tabled by ourselves and Newcastle last summer. A fact proven by our withdrawal of that offer and Newcastles lack of interest.

Id imagine he gets some good offers, from clubs who have been above us in the league.

Business wise it's fustrating to see another asset walk away from the club for free.

Footbal wise it's hard to fault the lads effort when he played but injuries took their toll and he never really kicked on developmentally.

We can do better and should have been looking to bring in better than him for a starting role this summer anyway.

I think its the right time to move on for both him and the club. He hasn't scored enough goals in recent seasons and has missed too many matches. It wouldn't make sense for us to make him one of the higher earners at the club.

I've tried not to get attached to players ever since Rooney left us. Dom leaving certainly doesn't change that, but I wish him well as he's a nice lad who's put up with some horrible abuse from the gammons for more than not being good enough for us.
