2024/25 Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Looking at some posts on Twitter today, people really have short memories of DCL when he's out injured.

They think he will come back a changed player, 'Thrive under Moyes' (which not many strikers do), 'deserves a new contract', 'our best striker' blah blah

He is terrible when fully fit and deserves to be moved on. he wont be a starter for any other PL team.

He's come back to the table, basically because no one is really interested in him. I'm not against him staying, as long he is on less wages than we originally offered. To be fair on him, he might not have signed because, of Dyche.

We need a lot of players this summer, keeping him for the short term may be a good idea. Increases our buying options in other areas.

Even if its not true.
If i was DCL and was looking to re sign, I'd slip something out there that Dyche was the reason he didn't commit.
It would thaw some ill feeling

He has to be professional, can't go round slagging people off. I'm not worried if he stays or not. But as I said before we need a lot of other players including a striker. So saves us buying 2.

If we keep DCL get a first choice strikers like Delap. Richie on loan and suddenly we look a lot stronger. We can consider selling Beto and let Chermiti go on loan.
