Why is he getting so much time during pre season when we are supposedly trying to sell him...would it be more useful to give beto more time to get used to the way we play as he is more likely to be here after Sept 1st?

Beto is not the right standard. If DCL is fit he plays with our group of forwards. Beto, Chermiti and Maupay … crikey

I’m not sure we are actively trying tbh.
Might have entertained a bid from the horse punchers because it was too good to refuse (like I expect we would for any player)
More his contract drags on the more I’m inclined to think they’re prepared to let him go for free if it comes to it.

He will not go on a free...more likely to go for a small fee on deadline day, same as we did with iwobi, with no time to replace, and the money used to service the debt...
