Actually, I don't think DCL is at the level of top No. 9. But DCL is probably that type of player who understands his weakness, trains very hard and in repetition.
Every season I watch him, he would improve some part of his game. It went a bit underrated - since he came back. I saw that his first touch & holdup play has improved. Today, his touch fooled their CB which gave him a 1v1 against their GK. DCL doesn't score many 1v1 but I'm glad he did.

Nice to see his bullying tactics work. Give their defenders a torrid time all afternoon and took his goal surprisingly well. We see this level of performance all to infrequently though
If he has got through these 2 consecutive starts then that will be good signs. If he continues to play like yesterday then he will get goals.
