It was probably always likely. We've got Leicester to think about and Dom won't have it in him yet to play 3 games in a week.

That being said, it's why I've been saying for months it's completely mental for our manager to be saying 'wait until the second half of the season' and acting like Dom being back somehow stops us being crap at defending. Shock horror, it doesn't.

Why’s everyone’s heads falling off?! Unless I’ve missed something he’s not actually injured again, just has ‘tightness’ in quad.

Which is to be expected after 4 months out.

Our injury rumours are hardly ever rubbish but like you I didn't expect him to start v Hull.

I also fully expected him to have another flare up of the problem after playing 90 mins. It's getting him in shape to play successive games in short amounts of time that's going to be the issue.

Hence why 'wait for the second half of the season' was utter tripe.

He will be ok - the doom mongers add 2 plus 2 equals five ......
