2021/22 Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Perhaps the club and manager should be concentrating on reducing those performances rather than stopping a player from showing the club for once in a good media light.

Seriously, if anyone says "tell me one good thing about Everton"..Calvert Lewin is at the top of the list.

Apparently though, according to miami who probably comes from morecambe, he shouldn't be saying anything at all.

I suspect most people switched off early , but they continued a long interview on Sky with Dominic, talking about his development, further progress , his early goals , PL goals etc. A very articulate interview from him , and he’s been the most positive part of the night for me. I hope they issue this interview separately, it’s a great watch. Haste ye back Dom, I’m off to see if I can vote him MoM.

I understand most posters will have no idea who Ted Bovis was, but it made me laugh..

Man City should be all over the lad.

And he should leave this hell hole for the good of his career.

Boss suit.

Brave of him to go on tonight, could tell he was nervous at the start, and then he's had to comment on that utter dross served up by his team-mates.

Unless we bring in a proper manager and show some ambition then he's gone.

If Potter took him into the Brighton team he'd probably score around a goal a game with the chances they create...same with City.

With Benitez' (no) defence first policy i dont think hes going to relish it in comparison.

Our strength is with our attacking players like DCL, Richarlison, Gray and also Townsend and Doucoure.

Surely we should be on the front foot...

Did he say last night whenhe was back?

…not from what I saw, which is a worry. They asked if he’d be back for the Derby but he never directly answered, suggesting he would try.

Sounds a similar injury to Gbamin which is a big concern. Whilst hamstrings are commonplace, I find it difficult to determine why we have two very serious quad injuries.

One thing the club could do to bring me back round in the short term is make this guy club captain. He speaks really well, has become a leader and can never ever question his attitude, commitment and love for the club.

Wouldn’t fancy playing in Rafael’s anti football style though - lonely furrow ploughed up front, no support and fans blaming you for not scoring 30 a season.

Unless there is some major surgery on this squad soon it’s starting to feel like him and Richarlison will go. I couldn’t blame them, they’re head and shoulders above the rest. We don’t look anywhere near finishing in European places and that’s the minimum we need to have a hope of keeping these guys.
