For me, ideally, I would sell Dominic and keep Richarlison, I don't believe, however, that will happen. DCL is off the back of having a very ordinary, injury ravaged season and, as a powerful, quick player, the type of injury he has been battling is worrying. If we sold DCL this summer it would not be for anything like the sum we could have got last summer. It comes down to deciding whether to keep our nerve and hold on to him for one more year, in the hope that his injuries are behind him, or, sell him for a lower fee this month and avoid the risk of him succumbing to injury again and seeing his value plummet.
Richarlison is a different case, he is very saleable at the moment, our problem here is, if we can't persuade him to extend his contract, we run the risk of him pushing for a move next summer, when he will be in the last year of his contract. On the other hand, if we can get him to extend and he has a good world cup, he would be worth massive money next summer.
Of course, all this may well be moot, the players hold all the cards these days and if DCL or Richarlison decide that they want to go this summer, they will go.
