This strikes me as a repeat of the John Stones situation. We suffered his inconsistent form and helped him develop into a decent player and the second he has the opportunity to repay that faith his head has been turned and he thinks he's bigger than the club.

That's the impression I have gotten from him this season.

He's been injured all season mate. That quad injury was as bad as Gbamin's. Got nothing to do with him phoning it in.

We'll obviously now see what this other thing is, but we were 'lucky' that quad injury wasn't even worse.
