He did play in the Euros, albeit a minute in the opener against Croatia and the final 18 minutes of the quarter final against Ukraine

Just to be fair, this squad did create 4-5 chances for Rondon today that if replaced by DCL would have likely led to 1-2 goals.

It’s a shame that we bring in Gray & Townsend to provide service just in time for DCL have an extended time out with injury.

Is he a top no9 though? Great poacher but nowhere near a top no9.

I don’t think our form is just because DCL is missing. Mina has been a massive miss, Doucoure, Richarlison and even Gomes to an extent. Plus the lack of a number 10.
