You're assuming Spurs will sell Kane, how much would he cost to replace, I dont think it will happen this summer
And I dont think DCL is going anywhere anytime soon, Carlo has got a tune out of him, would love us to get another striker to push him next season when in Europe
I was answering the hypothetical of: Spurs sell Kane, Spurs come knocking, do we sell or not? Obviously Levy won't want to sell Kane, but reality is that if City offers to double Kane's wages, Levy won't match it. My reply is that it's a bad career move for DCL. If United wants DCL and is willing to pay, we have a problem.
As to your point, I suspect that DCL moving is just a matter of time if he maintains his current level of performance unless we start qualifying for Europe soon. I wouldn't expect a move this summer - I don't see United meeting our ask, I don't see Chelsea making something like a Pulisic + cash offer, and going anywhere else in the league is moving laterally with no guarantees of having the team set up around him. He doesn't really fit any of the continental leagues, either.
