I remember reading an article by Shearer in his prime. And he said always get your shot away first time and hit the target. He said it’s gives less time for a keeper to set himself and also less chance of a defender getting a block in, hitting it first time. And he should know the number of goals he scored.

Shame really as I watched him play on a few occasions and thought,' The game is passing you by lad, get involved. You can do it'.
Temperament is a hidden attribute, not everybody has it. .Perhaps this could have been his missing ingredient.

Ffs, a 23 year old we signed for nowt just scored a hat trick for us and some of you are still moaning.

I just had to look up Ephemeral and also "guode", which I thought was a word but I assume is a typo, because I'm illiterate.

You've got to admit he's improved exponentially though mate.

He won't be as effective every game but I think his work can always be appreciated in terms of link up and work rate.
