This season yes, but for the other two seasons Richy has arguable been our best and most consistent player, DCL hasn't been.
He's young as yet but our main two strikers should have scored a brace each tonight.....

He's probably been playing football every day for 12 years, at what age is he doing to be able to learn how to shoot? He's not 16 anymore, he's been playing top level football consistently for 3/4 years and still can't kick a ball

What annoys me the most is the lack of effort off the ball. He’s always prancing around making weird shapes. So many times I watch him and he’s not even looking at the ball or for the ball. Someone like Harry Kane always demands the ball. DCL will never be that top striker. The rumours of big money move and England call up have made him believe his own hype. Both the 1:1s today lacked conviction.

I'm not complaining about DCL, and he's not our biggest problem yet. He is a good striker, but far from top class. The best strikers perform better than XG, while DCL is on the wrong side. This can turn around, and we need his goals now in the last matches. Come on, DCL!
He’s improved a lot this season, but does have weaknesses, doesn’t ever look confident in 1 on 1 situations. Maybe that can be improved, not sure.
But even if they’re not scoring, centre forwards should be giving defenders a hard time. I want to see opposition centre halves physically drained at the end of game, esp when they’ve played against big, fast, physical striker.
