Concern is the opposition will suss him out and realise outside of 9 yards he struggles infront of goal.

Will always still grab a goal but I can't see him going on a run as good as the start of the season again now everyone knows his main strengths.

Thing is he is giving players a hard time around the pitch, something to think about, like his play in the build up against Southampton, no stat but he was key receiving the ball from Pickford

Aye his all round game is good for the side but I think his goal tally will slow down going forward now teams know his main strengths.

Think van nistelrooy had a crazy record of 150 goals for manure and only one from outside the box. If Dom ends up as good as Ruud he'll be doing alright.
Im sure they'll be working on his finishing and composure in and around the box, he seems to run with his head down as soon as he gets into it, dont think he's had an assist all season.

I don't want us to sign a striker.

The lad is the number 9 and is still improving each year.

There was a time last year where I couldn't believe we were starting the season with him as our striker and he has proved me very wrong.

Of all our players hes the one allowed a bad patch after the form he started the season with.

DCL proved a lot of peeps wrong ,including me.
But we do need other options up front.
Eg
Chelsea played Werner as the RS play a high line the other night.
Agsta team that defends deep ( like us ) Giroud will play.
Then they have Abraham ready to come on any time.
Atm we dont have that luxury.

No one's gloating about anything. He's a good player who had a poor game. He should be putting those chances away.

He should have scored, but when starved of service with our makeshift midfield, but Harry Kane missed swords chance - Crap happens Rhico grabbed the winner that's what matters .,'.......
