Worked hard today with not very much to go off, but then we say that about Dom every week.

Thought he held the ball up well and he seems to be getting better at working the channels.

The booking I thought was really soft, I would've said that was a good tackle. Didn't really deserve the yellow for me.

Good to see him hitting some kind of form and getting the goals his hard work has always deserved. Long may it continue.

We didn't give him enough of the right kind of service today.

Although he did get one good ball through at 2-1 and his control was very bad, so he needs to keep working at that.

Not even close, martials ability is on a different planet to Lewins

Ability yes, just not getting experience there. IMO any DCL deal would have to have Marital or Rashford coming here MAYBE BOTH, DCL is obviously worth 100M AMIRITE!!!!

Martial definitely should be better but I'm not really sure that he is
He’s got bags of talent but he seems to have a bit of an attitude issue.

After Man U’s 1-1 draw with Chelsea in April apparently OGS tore in to Martial for a lack of effort. Apparently Mourinho wanted to sell him but the club refused. He’s also on something ridiculous like £13m a year/£250k a week, which is a fair bit more than Ancelotti ffs.

One thing you can’t have a go at DCL for is his attitude.

Done brilliantly recently, but he struggled this evening, partly because of a bit of tiredness, but also because he was up against two out of three of their backline most of the time, and he doesn't really have the deftness of touch to make much out of that on his own. Richarlison had to noticeably drop further back to try and help the midfield out, which then left DCL isolated and unable to find a teammate with an easy lay off or flick on.

Hopefully he can get a few days relative rest with just a bit of light training before Sunday. It's just a shame we don't have anyone else who could have stepped in for one of the last three or four games to give him a rest, but we all know the history on that, and we've been down to bare bones as well, so playing Richarlison up front on his own hasn't been an option either.

If was actually a very smart tactical move by Pep to go 3 CBs. We didn't really have an answer because our midfield was so bad that we couldn't take advantage of them being a bit light.
