DCL not premier league standard. hes had 80 chances to prove us that he is, he's only socred in 11 of those. Simply not good enough. There can't be many other players who get that many chances. Remember klaassen was f*cked off after playing 6 games. I don't see why DCL is an exception? is it because he's young? But take a look at other 22 year olds and below age: its embarassing to compare them. Joao Felix, maddison, jovic, etc etc. Lincoln in the cup should be his LAST chance. if he grabs it by the horns then fair play, if he doesn't i think he should be loaned to a top/mid half championship team like Brentford.

It was not a miss it was on target and our only shot on target and a well blocked shot on target... Maybe he should have placed the shot on target, however, that would have been some half volley to do that, certainly goal of the month if not a contender for the season.

A good striker puts it in the half of the net that is empty mate. Simple as.

We all want him to thrive, but he's been given a lot of chances to show his ability in front of goal and he's come up lacking in far too many.
I don't think he can be what we need him to be.

Of course. I just don't see him as a solo striker. Kean would be able to do it off workrate but DCL just cant. Not sure what the answer would be other than the bench but I really wouldn't mind trying out a new formation with 2 strikers. DCL being the hold up play and Kean and the "get in behind" guy.

Long term though, unless he learns how to shoot, there’ll be strikers out there who can do the things DCL’s good at, but also chip in 5-10 gõls as a backup striker. Should be the aim

Has crap said it all. An average pl striker would have scored that. It’s from like 10 yards and he can’t even place a shot.
