Still time for the club to put an end to such madness, but they won't.

If he wants that sort of money, it's time for him to move on. The lad wouldn't get a game ahead of the strikers playing for the bottom three clubs.
He’s the lowest earner in the first yet the highest scorer ?

it's not reckless I've said the same for 2 years when he's been absolutely shabite for 2 years ( minus last month )

Ancelotti has been here a week you mad man, he in all honestly has probably watched him train once or twice and he's just probably trying to motivate him

DCL one of the best strikers in Europe? you are having a laugh, he's not even the best striker at everton

supporters like me who want the best for this great club? supporters like YOU is why this club is where we are, accept tripe like DCL

we will see how highly carlo rates DCL when 1 or 2 transfer windows have passed

you can vault this, but this time next year I guarantee you DCL won't be our starting forward once carlo realises what an utter dog he is

The only thing that's mad when a clueless supporter thinks he knows more than Carlo Ancelotti, Alan Shearer and Graeme Sharpe.

It also comes apparent, your reading skills needs working on as I mentioned that Ancelotti said he can become one of the best in Europe. It does not mean he's the best striker now. Ancelotti knows DCL will improve with experience as do most strikers.

Also Ancelotti was tracking DCL while he was manager of Napoli. Again this fact shows how clueless you are about everything.

I'd say the Holy Trinity of clueless supporters would include evertonarntwe, Billysgingham and ForeverbBue92!

Alex Ferguson once said that Phil Jones had the ability to become Manchester United's greatest ever player.

Sometimes people just say things.

His miss was bad, justifiably slate him for that.

Not sure the rest of his performance was bad or good as we didn't get the ball to him. Few nice flick ons wasted, jumped too early for Walcott's cross (does that quite often) but the rest of the time stood there waiting for our non-existant midfield to move the ball up the pitch.

Most top strikers had to learn their game only began to get prolific as they become experienced. I've seen Inzaghi and sometimes games pass him by when he's not scoring.

talking out of your bumhole again

your telling me because 3 people said DCL can be good and they played football they are right and everyone else is wrong?

lets rewind, what did shearer say exactly? he said he's playing well and doing things recently he has never done before which is score goals, that's true? where is that is shearer saying he's going to become europes best striker?

no idea what sharpe said, I don't care to be honest he's one of the clubs ambassodors, he says what he's told to say

Ancelotti was tracking DCL at Napoli? what does this mean? he wanted him but never ever made a bid, nor show any interest? so he didn't really want him.

i'll say again I don't care what super blues on a forum think about my posts, I know though DCL isn't good enough for this ( albeit for most other prem teams ) and the fact people like yourself go so far out your way to defend him amazes me, probably clapped him off at the tele last night as well didn't you

What miss was that?

Problem this season. Midfield is absent through injury and Siggy stinking. We have no prolificacy up front. Total disaster

Did somebody honestly compare Richarlison’s performances to DLCs?! Absolute madness if you can’t see the gulf in class between the 2.

DCL last week reverted back to the striker we’ve had since he joined us, which proves that last month was a purple patch. I’d say he’s just good enough to be one of 2 back up strikers when we sign someone who can finish. I’d sell him now if I was Brands, as he’s probably the most expensive as he’s ever going to be with the extra press he had recently.

I’d say he played better than Rich last night but that wasn’t hard.

Okay, I see your point, but shouldn't the criticism be raised against Silva, Ancelotti, etc., who thinks he's good enough?

Second, DCL has shown progression. If he continues this curve he will end up at around 14-18 goals this season. Only Lukaku and (possibly) Yakubu have done better in the last 20 years.

And yes, I always have greater expectations for record signings, and their contributions to the team. That is why they are record signings, they should increase the quality of the team and be the small difference.

The criticism of DCL's ability should be levelled at DCL if he's playing and being paid handsomely for it. The fact he's starting striker for us currently means criticism is also due for the likes of Koeman and Walsh in the main. There is no need to overlook the fact that DCL is a poor player just because our management have failed in the transfer market.

DCL has shown decent progression. The time for waiting around and praying for young players to develop and save us millions in the transfer market should have gone when Moshiri arrived at the club, however. It's no longer acceptable. Pinning your hopes on youngsters that cost £1.2m is what is about to get Norwich relegated yet again. It will never, ever get us into the top 6 of the PL. We are undeniable proof of that. So it needs to stop. We need to stop buying Tosuns and Niasses and start spending our money wisely so we don't end up in the nightmare situation where Tom Davies and DCL are able to rack up 200 appearances for the club in a short period of time again.
