The biggest issue we have when it comes to DCL, is that we rightly released him due to his outrageous wage demands in comparison to his output. Then spent another 27 million - after spending similar on Beto - and replaced him with another striker in Barry, who looks like he's not an upgrade.

It's just a shame we can't seem to get it right when recruiting forwards.

My daughter’s first game was v Huddersfield in 2018. She said the first goal scorer would be her favourite player. Digne crossed for DCL to equalise. Convinced her the assist was better so she went with Digne!

Her no in basketball is 12 ever since.
