Dominic Calvert-Lewin watch

Fair play to him, he’s doing well and looking fit - basically everything he wasn’t while with us.

We all needed a fresh start, don’t think he’s bad mouthed the club himself (his wife is a bit of an idiot like) so there’s no need to hate the lad or wish him ill will.

Well, feel the same the same about him as with Dyche. Happy he seems doing well at his new club, but in the end also he was part of the problem and his wage requests were just too high given his performances and injuries after Carlo.

Can’t argue with that, but circumstances with Dyche and dcl a little different.

Dyche gave up on us and wanted his pay off, DCL was just unfit too much.

Agreed, DCL wanted far too much wages and wasn’t worth a new contract here.

And then after Carlo we expected him to play on the halfway line, receive a long punt, have zero support and somehow score.

Play to his strengths, and shock, he scores goals.
This is our playbook now btw, but we’ve dropped Barry and Beto into the set up instead of DCL, who are isolated and chasing their own flick ons.

People slagging our current strikers need to wake up - they clearly have their deficiencies but we are not helping them.

We aren't helping them, but we also signed two strikers whose playstyles don't fit whatsoever to how we want to play.
