It's been mentioned a few times today by various posters that they're concerned about where we're heading as a club. This has been largely sparked by rumours of the £145k-£150k weekly wage that we are supposedly willing to pay Cenk Tosun.

So, are you concerned that if we're offering those sort of wages (not to mention the transfer fee) for what are unproven players that we could spiral into financial difficulty and have to rapidly sell our assets and tumble out of the Premier League?

The comparisons with Leeds are worrying, it also reminds me of Tony Fernandes coming into QPR and throwing crazy money at loads of average footballers, look where that's got them.

£45m on Sigurdsson is another example of the silly money we've thrown around, vastly overpriced even in todays inflated market.

I think you've outlined all the major problems there tbh, we're in freefall and I fully expect us to be managed by Gary Monk in a few seasons as we fight to get out of the Championship. I think our fans have to share a large part of the blame too, they drive our best players out and are killing our club with unreasonable expectations.

Treat the season as a pre season, i have zero expectations beyond getting players fit, filling a few gaps, blooding a few youngsters and comfortbaly getting the 13 points we need.
