Dogs

She died a month ago and I;m still in mourning, don't think the hurt and loss will ever go.
Cancer got her in the end. Buried her in the front yard and planted an oak tree above her.
RIP Poppy

A day before she left us.
Sorry for your loss, I feel your pain. We lost our dog this week, long story short, she had to have an operation to remove stones from her bladder and kidneys but sadly her heart stopped very shortly after the anaesthetic was given to her…. We were blessed that we had 8 years with her but we are devastated at her passing, the pain is unbearable at times.

I'm sorry dude, one of my best mates lost his dog to cancer last weekend, his dog was one of my dog's best mates, too. They'd have an absolute riot when we took them out walking together. There was a hole in their fence and whenever we used to walk past there they'd stick their noses through the hole and make happy noises. My dog still does it and seems confused that Henry isn't there any more. It's really sad losing a dog, they're like a family member or a close mate.

Right back at you man, sorry for you and your families loss. Consider meself lucky here, to have had the time knowing she was going to go. It hits in all different ways, like walking down the pet food section of Aldi last week and just welled up.

Anyone here manage more than one dog on their own? I’m basically flying solo (my daughter doesn’t count, cos she’s chronically online 😅).

I’ve got the chance to take in a bonded pair, which would bring us to three dogs total…though our current senior mostly just naps 99% of the time. Yeah, I’ve thought about time away from them and have arrangements for dog-sitting and professional care.

I just want to know: is managing multiple dogs alone as challenging as I imagine?
More difficult but if they are already trained then not really too bad.
