Thanks lads, I’ve had a lab before and I don’t know if it’s just them or every breed but they seem to love chewing any wooden fixture they can find.
Last lab I had ate one of my socks(a sock discarded on the floor) cost me £500 to have it removed as it was stuck in its intestines, they eat anything! My one also had a thing about eating cow poo

We had one who ate a ‘soap on a rope’ Christmas present.

Luckily it came out, genuinely, like a soap on a rope…

Last one I had I came home one day to find out it had tunnelled right through my mattress

I have owned dogs since 73, and GSDs since 2000. I have a GSD pup nearly 6 months old, and she is the most destructive dog I have ever had. She has eaten books, my jacket, shoes, a stool...still I love her.

Be too hot to go on long walks soon, making the most of it.

The one at the back is one I rehomed a few months back. His new family are away for a week so I offered to take him back rather than the expense of boarding. He's doing so well after a pretty miserable first year of his life.

I can't think of a punishment bad enough for someone that mistreats a defenceless pup. I'm very level headed normally but it makes my blood boil!!!
