Big Sam getting the boot at the end of the season was petty much the plan right from the start. Thats why I'm not calling for him to be sacked because it's pointless. He'll be gone after the West Ham away game on May 13th, not any sooner or later. The eighteen mouth contract means nothing other then a fanatical guarantee for Sam and his people from the club.

Depends on how this season pans out, if we end up finishing top half and we seem solid I'd want him here another here to see if he can kick us on.

We made the right choice getting Allardyce vs the alternatives - his tactics immediately following his appointment sorted out the relegation threat

The problem has come about when shifting to a more positive approach. However he's done no worse than Koeman or Unsworth. And he's made two very good signings this window

I don't believe sacking the manager is the answer. More like, allow some continuity, allow Sigurdsson, Walcott, Tosun etc to gel. We also need a new left back and center back. If Coleman is back in the coming weeks, and if Kenny is able to cover on the left that should make a difference...

The funny thing is mate that before Allardyce's first game as manager (Huddersfield) we were 5 pts above relegation, today we sit 7 pts above relegation, if Southampton were to beat Spurs today we would then be 5 pts above the drop, a point for Southampton, then it's 6 pts above relegation, so in 10 games (30 pts) under Allardyce we've gained 2 pts above the relegation places, and that could all change depending on the Southampton result.

My young lad was telling me this, so if it's wrong, he's to blame!
