is that the ones were you go through the door by turning to page 42 or sit on a box by going back to page 18?

They were adventure books, that you needed dice and a pencil????? to read/play? Depending on different outcomes, you turned to different pages. Anyone??

Haha!

I had loads of them when I was younger.

They were ace. I always used to keep my finger on the last page in case I picked a crap option and got molested by a troll or something.

I had them all....

Ian Livingstone's were miles better than Steve 'I WANT TO BUM VAMPIRES' Jackson's efforts.

House of Hell was the first one I had. Was a bit crap like. I used to swap them with friends when I was about 9. A few years later I discovered cider and fingering. The friend I swapped books with was going into a forest with a foam sword and an 18 sided dice.

Lucky escape by me I think.

In that case, do you remember a book called, 'Out of the Pit'? It was an encyclopaedia of the beasties from the Fighting Fantasy worlds. Have I gone too far?

Haha, wasn't me, t'was my older tw@tty brother, but I just found a picture that I had drawn, when I was a kid, of one of the beasties, from said book.

It just brought it all back.

The 80's PSP - a fookin' book, with a dice and a pencil.
