Yes
74 and likely about 1300 miles this year, down on last year . Target has been 1000 miles per year.I think @blueloon is in his early seventies and I`d put money on he`s running more than 2000 miles a year !
Better walking than running at that age mate ....
Turned 34 the other week, feel about as old as I did when I was 25, which is about 70.
Your only 34?
Yes mate, thought you were 50 odd...were you expecting older?

It's doing something productive with your time
Might be worth asking the dr for an mri scan, cauda equina turns up usually with bladder related symptoms, could though be a spinal injury, like a bust or protruding disc. When the central nerve is impacted (nerve within the spinal channel) it causes real long term problems, but nerve roots (branches out of the main channel) can also be impacted by herniated discs. Sooner you get an idea the better off you can plan. Do not be fobbed off with 'wear and tear'.74 and likely about 1300 miles this year, down on last year . Target has been 1000 miles per year.
Yes I now feel old. In the past two months I’ve developed back and sciatic nerve problems , basically I wake up stiff and with an achy -back each morning. It seems to have come out of nowhere and affects my hamstring when running , so my running has been stop / start the past few months. I’m hoping to do the London Marathon in April but not sure if my back will allow me to do the 16-18 mile runs necessary, but if I get in I’ll do it anyway . My plan was to do a marathon through each year of my 70’s , four done so far but this may well be my last. It’s rather annoying![]()
Beats crawling the 'kin walls man! You're on here for 95% of your time, Poon, I'd hardly call that productive.

You got 'cantankerous' out of me remember. And I only ever 'hb' a birthday.
