Player Valuation: £1m
As a supporter of my local non-league side Chelmsford City of the Conference South, I am a regular on the unnoficial messageboard ( there is no official one). We have been strongly advised (not by the owner just by one user who seems to get a lot of inside information on the club) that we should not discuss any transfer roumours because this has apparently cost us signing big targets in the past.

I cant believe that this has been asked of us however as its not part of the forum guidlines theres no reason why anyone should listen to this person even if the best interests of the club might be at stake the point I am making is that at the end of the day its a fans forum where we should be able to discuss anything within reason such as transfer gossip.

But then again these people who make advise to us are often guilty of this themselves as even as non-board members they get to go along to these board meetings at CCFC and then soon blurt out the latest information themselves which is very wrong.

Who the hell do you talk about signing at Chelmsford City? Oh i saw a guy in the park who kicked the ball in the right direction, lets get him signed up?

i dont know what the standard of the northern conference is but te southern one does have some very decent sides in that have in the past had their glory days higher up in the pyramid. being just 2 divisions from the football league the standard of football is pretty good.
