We know , lad .

We , as Evertonians , treasured it , however , ...

He KNEW that .

Cammsell scored 59 in the second division for Boro in 1926/27. They came up that season so he would have been among thwe top scorers behind Dixie in 1927/28 I assume. I think I read that Boro beat us at Ayrsome Park 4-2. 4 goals to Cammsell, 2 to Dixie
I know he scored 18 goals in 9 appearances for England.

Not looking for the second highest goalscorer of all time, but thanks for the valiant effort. Looking for who was the 2nd top scorer in the 1927-28 season.

Definitely saw the top scorers list on the net somewhere about 5 years ago &, if memory serves correctly, he was at least 20 goals ahead of the 2nd top scorer that season.

Gabriel "Choo-Chong" Albiston was second highest goalscorer that year with an admirable 36 league goals.
