I remember in his early days members calling him dustbin- where they now?! ;-)

Players player of the year- I'm really glad we've secured him for another year.

Its a goodun this. Jags didnt have his best year after the Arsenal interest. Heits and Distin were very steady for the most part.
I did think in the draw with Stoke away, they dont score if that was Distin instead of the other two trying to stop their forward.
 
Great news this, he has been great for us, especially this season. His pace is outstanding, especially for a player of his age.
 

Have to say I wasnt too pleased when we signed him , but he has been great for us .

Well deserved deal , good to have that done and out the way so we can commence our massive spending spree .
 
I sent him a tweet calling him Dustbin, he tweeted me back saying "Thats Mr Dustbin to you". True story
 
GREAT news, true quality back in the side. Offers us starting caliber CB and LB and coverage if needed, knows moyes, knows the system, knows the expectations, well thought of by players, coaches and most fans.

I really don't know why it took this long to sort, but glad it did.

Also glad for him that he'll be able to put a year of separation between that backpass and the end of his career. A terrible way to go out for a classy team player - VERY happy he's back for another.
