I dont think so. Why would they? We have a lot of games this season. They'd play in the bulk of them. And if they felt they couldn't hang around because they're not playing all the games, guess what - they wont get that at any club they believe to be bigger than us either.

It's a fairly uncontroversial point being put here (recognised by some, tbf) that given the position we find ourselves in (yes, yes...7 games in lad blah blah blah - but the injuries will kill us stone dead from turning this before we reach December) we can take a look at players we have in our squad right now. Not too revolutionary I wouldn't have thought - playing players you have in your 25 man group for first team purposes. Apparently it's the realm of glue sniffers to suggest we do that this season though. No, I dont understand it either.

He was in the stands at the Derby too, I don't know the whole story and can't be bothered going through 26 pages to see if there's any truthful insight here, but I think the far most likely thing is he's been asked to take a break for some reason. It may be a personal matter, and frankly we as fans don't have a right to know.

Definitely disappointing considering Stones' injury.

I think most people think we are still in with a shout with a CL place, its gonna be tough, but once we get the wind behind us we can really start to kick on and win some actual games.

The players you mentioned are young lids that will be given a chance to prove they are the real deal at the right time, we spent a vast sum of money building a squad and its been utterly destroyed with injurys to key players and a distinct lack of form from 60% of the squad.

Personally I think the ship is not right behind the scenes, its gonna need a big personality to sit everybody down and direct them in the right direction.

Your right about one thing.."all is not well behind the scenes".....is it really bobby who is going to sort it.?

If we get done by Villa next game there will be a few on here who will go into hiding.
