Some day's the train, and some day's the bus.

I have an oldie pass, which is kosher after 9-30am.

From home into town is a nightmare.

Quicker to fly to Berlin from John Lennon AP.

Moved over the UK three times house on the job twice owned thre properties in the moving process - believe it or not being so close to your employer work site forget it - you are disadvantaged even though you have no travel,...
My final move I never spent any of my savings, and purchased a house 6 miles away eventually being given a company van for travel - retired now missed my work like mad for the first three years .....
Due to health reasons on retirement I get by on my pension ....
You have to move around for promotions my son had five houses and he was only four years old .......

60 miles, takes between takes between an hour and 90mins however I work 12hr shifts roughly 4 on 4 off and there are 4 of us in the carpool to share the driving.

We're on shiftwork so the route varies dependent on the shift and how busy the roads are.

I move between 2 offices but I need to visit both on most days. Hopefully scheduling works out so I do one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
35 min to the furthest one, 20 min to the second one then 20/25 back home, all in about 70 miles. Only pain is if I have to shuttle back and forth between the two, luckily not too often.

7 miles, takes about 40 minutes. When I first worked in Sheffield I lived about 30 miles away and that took me 45 minutes. Traffic here has got way worse in the last 15 years. Mind you when I worked in Manchester it could take an hour to get 2 miles!!

Worst daily commute I have had was 47 miles each way. Took about an hour in the morning because I left super early. If I left at 3:00 pm it would take about 1.5 hours to get home. If I left at 4:00 pm or later it would take 2.5+ hours to get home.
