Disgraceful if true.

Nobody said life was fair, issue is Everton brought in digitalised tickets, that have caused a huge amount of convenience to fans, to stop touting, yet club are doing the same thing. Considering they made a big deal from punishing an alleged tout, last year it makes a mockery out of rules. Everton will sell away tickets for way above face value, yet don't want fans passing season tickets on to family and friends for free. Take a look at ticket thread on here. FACE VALUE. This forum doesn't tolerate touting, because it's against the law and its morally wrong.
Touting is buying at one price and selling that same ticket at an inflated price.

As these tickets have not been sold and the original seller is setting the price it is not touting and not illegal.

Morally reprehensible of course, but not illegal.

I’m not defending the club over this, just pointing out that this is how it will be, whilst people are prepared to pay the price.

Should you not find this out before flapping?
I’m very sorry for having an opinion, and indeed posting two possible thoughts on the situation, before finding out all of the facts.

Please accept my humble apologies for making an assumption as part of my post.

Perhaps you should also heed your own advice and not comment on other people’s comments too?

This would make sense if they were charging £3k just for the match ticket. But they aren't, so it doesn't.

I never made an assumption.

Everton have reserved a portion of their away tickets at Spurs, for tourists who want to splash £3,000 on a 'matchday experience' with the club..

Such an insane markup on what is included aswell.. 🤦

I dont know how true it is, ive been told by 2 people now that they held back 3000 tickets from FB+ ballot and redirected them to seat unique for the derby 🤷

It is touting as they buy tickets from Spurs at 30 quid a ticket, they've then added extras on and charged 3000 quid. Clubs oppose touting, yet are now ghd biggest touts. Everybody knows that ex players as well as current players are given complimentary tickets and that's not fair, however it's not touting either. I've received free tickets from ex players at Everton, not mentioning any names like. I wouldn't be bothered if Everton did this, if they brought back physical cards and stopped virtue signalling about touting. Liverpool have turned a blind eye to touting for years, despite receiving multiple warnings from Merseyside Police , due to it causing problems. Having lived in Anfield it was norm for foreign fans to simply wait by box office for tickets being sold 10 times their value. Add to that Scouse fans turning up to buy tickets to be told they'd sold out, then people who worked in club shop would be selling them to foreign fans.
