Hello good everton supporter. Please say no bad word for Hibbert, for hard worker in the team and skillful player. Success for Everton team is depend on success of Hibbert. Is maturing player that is young and much more skill to learn (it is hard for understand as already skill player!).

Well coming from an American who's popular game of Basketball is all about attack is the best form of defence, or have I misheard that.

Back to footy though, and relatively speaking the best fullbacks in the world are not necessarily the best defenders in their position. Roberto Carlos and Dani Alves are two examples of excellent attacking fullbacks who can't really defend, but then if they are good enough, do they need to be that good a defender?

If your an attacking fullback you are pegging back their wingers, but if your a defensive fullback then your just inviting them to attack you.

See what I mean?

You are wrong. There are teams that have no defense, but they do not win the title

Yes we can and should be questioning a manager only after 2 games.

Moyes went Defensive minded. CB at mid and Hibbert instead of Coleman. We have to question Moyes' thinking with this lineup against this opponent.

Did not know you despise and look down on Yanks as much as you do Ghost.

I like Yank! Many other like Yank as well. I always will look down for Yank, how to look up for Yank, upside down! Let us not cut grass for bolted Horses. Ok if only second game of year, Hibbert has experience and still time for other member to become team mate of Hibbert. Hibbert is dog and will get hip for young team member and teach good way. In Hibbert we will place good trust to guide team.

Don't be so ridiculous. What a stupid thing to say.

Name one other manager who would replace anyone on the pitch for Osman at right wing as an attacking move? Just one...even the fat waiter won't do that.

Yes we are allowed to criticise the manager this early on cos it's exploding our heads watching moyes do the same tactics like he did years ago.

If I was Rodwell I'd be thinking, " how the **** am I on the bench when we are even 1-1 and Felli gets a nod even though he just got back from injury?"

Coleman : " how the **** is Hibbert in the starting 11 when neville is out and hibbert is [Poor language removed] going forward?"

Moyes: " I'll find a way to play Osman everytime...............cos I'm David Moyes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and I'm.................awesooooooomeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your not wrong mate. It's baffling isn't it.

Like I say, Moyes is like someone who needs a drink to dance at a disco. Just get your tie off, wrap it around your head and air guitar to Walk of Life. Just be adventerous, just this once.

It's extremely baffling mate.....this could be one of those years

Well I said it at the start of the season, but the soft arses have decided to dismiss any possibility that the manager is anything other than a legend, just because we are no longer in the [Poor language removed]. Well for that I am thankful, but it's not enough for me at all. Ok, we have limited funds and are doing ok without money, but look at the players we have and look at the players he chooses not to use - Jack Rodwell is chomping at the bit to really do something at this club, so why is he holding him back? Same with Coleman? I also don't expect us to see anything of this Silva lad either - which begs the question why sign him when we already have players like Agard, Baxter etc in the squad.

He may well sign players like Cahill, Arteta etc, but he has also spent big on Fellaini and Billy, but as yet is unable to play Billy in his favoured position, and why oh why does he insist on playing players out of position.

We certainly lacked the killer instinct on Saturday; seem to do everything else right except finish Wolves off. Not using the ref as an excuse but he got all 3 major dictions wrong.

I would have brought Rodwell on over Saha and took billy off instead of Beckford. Bily was awful.
I was thinking we’re going to murder these now they equalized but it didn't happen, in fact they looked more likely to score.
We seem to be slow starters then get going mid way and fall short and blame our start. Only problem this time is there is NO EXCUSE.

I have been stressing on the same point and millions of evertonians would have the same predicament. I made this point a few days back and someone here came up saying " well, moyes is three time LMA manager of the year"

Well, does that mean he is forgiven for any mistakes he makes? It's bullshit if so

Coleman is gonna be 22 this year, signed a new contract cos he sees optimism. Rodwell may well think that "hey I signed a new contract but not so that i get 10 or 15 starts only per season."

Even giggs doesn't play every match for utd so why does neville get to when there's younger, more hungrier blood in the side.

Billy is top notch if his abilities are exploited out. On the right,he will be a major threat with goal scoring opportunities aswell.

ahh well, I can go on and on and on. This can go on all season unless moyes realises!

To be honest I don't think Billy is a right sided player, I think he needs to be in the hole behind the striker, but then that would mean dropping Cahill out of the only position he can play in.

But yeah Coleman, what has he done to persuade Moyes to not play him? When does he play him? If it was against big sides like Arsenal, Man U etc then I can understand, but against lowly opposition, surely those are the games to play him when there is less pressure and low quality opposition. Same with Rodwell.

Just seems that Moyes is unwilling to look past his own values, and he is missing talented youngsters. Fully expect Rodwell or Coleman to be off by the end of the season. Wouldn't blame them.

Good post i agree with this,i suppose moysies selections have always worked for him but the way we have started maybe he will now look what he has available and act accordingly.

What? Coleman has shown that he can defend better than Hibbert?

I must have missed that match.

No problem, I'm sure Everton do a season d.v.d.

Hibbert is crap, honeslty couldn't care less how he's been in the team for years etc..
