Hasn't satisfied me this season to be honest, not quick enough for a winger. However, he has chipped in with a fair share of goals.

Expecting much more next season since this was his first and he was adjusting to life in the Premiership. Fellaini was heavily criticised in his first year and just look at the quality of his performances before he was injured!

Reading the Echo before, I realised that Bily hadn't had a break from footy since March 2009. Russia not qualifying for the World Cup could be a blessing.

If he still isn't cutting it at Goodison next season, then he will have to go the following summer.

A lot of players are, Maro was pretty awful.

I'd disagree. Some were just fickle and wanted some step overs to go with his transfer fee. His goal tally alone suggests the lad had a remarkable first season, all considered.

I'll say the same with Bilyaledinov as I did with Fellaini, the lad has it in his locker. No mistake.

He has the technique when striking a ball and has the brain to boot. At the moment he's the proverbial rabbit caught in headlights, struggling with the pace of the prem but he adjust - just like Arteta and Pienaar did.

He also need to put a bit more graft into his play. I've noticed shouts of s-house directed towards him from the Goodison faithful - once that tags applied, it can be difficult to shake.

Got an assist from the corner to Cahill against Villa.

How many goals has he got this season, 10 ?

Bit of patience never did anyone any harm.

Certainly didn't with Fellaini, so why's Billy different in this case?

Slightly harsh , for me , lad .

We defo haven't seen the best of Billy , but give him a real PRE-SEASON , and the 12 months we gave Screech ; he'll be laughing .
Btw , the happy knack of scoring in the Premier League - esp' when not playing well - , is one to treasure .

2 words ; Marouane Fellaini .

6 goals and quite a few assists if i may add, in less than 20 games. Impressive for a first season in the prem and also not having a break for a year.

I've been saying that patience is key for Billy. He will also get a deserved break and a good pre-season now, so should start next season on prem-pace, and (hopefully) prove that he's class.

He still has to adjust to the Prem speed which takes time. Plus he's been playing all over the pitch and doesn't have a set position. Ossie and Fellani struggled when they were playing a different spot every week as well. He has to improve his defense and be less selfish in front of goal. Moyes will be able to coach him up on D (Peanut has greatly improved on D over the past couple years).

For those who say just get rid of him Just take a look at other 10+M players around the prem. Mordric was awful his 1st year, Fellani struggled at times, Bale looked like epic bust but he's doing good now as well.

clearly has a sharp footballing brain. you can make players a little faster, a lot fitter, better at dead balls, but you if someone doesn't have a footballing brain, you can't teach it. that's why i'm not too worried. i'd like to see him play behind the striker. he will give defences a torrid time, as that clip showed.

Love Billy me, I really do. While he's not the quickest, he's got a quick football brain always trying to pick an improbable pass out. And that left peg is one of the best in the prem. If you see that goal against United where he only got that one yard and hit it out of the blue that put Van Sar right on the spot.

Will come good next season big time.

He has been hit and miss. The talent is there for sure, but sometimes the effort hasn't been. I'm not worried though, as i think next season is when we will see the best of him.

I think this lads great. Well first just look at the goals he's came up with this season, hes scored alot, and some of them are great. Hes been shattered for most of the season, but that will be better next season, he gets into good posiitons, gets into good shooting positions and he is learning evertons tactics.

Dont forget he has been moved around from left to right to centre, he hasnt had a chance to settle.

The assists and goals he has got says he is a bargain, i hate the way people around me moan at him, a player can play a bad pass and because bily didnt get it he is blamed, a corner can be taken and the ball falls to the right flank - and because bily isnt there (because he is in the box) he's blamed.

Its ridiculous, its Fellaini all over again imo, he had a season similar...

...and besides...any player recommended by Hiddink ill keep in my team (y)
