You and the other 75% of the stadium jam packed with Evertonians on semi final day. Spurs....I was there! 9 years old. A giant fat man sat next to us picked me up and shook me. Brilliant.

Compare and contrast respective first choice elevens, or at least what i would have as first choice and who i would pick out of the respective teams;
Howard - Lloris Lloris
Coleman - Walker Coleman
Stones - Alderweireld Alderweireld
Jagielka - Vertonghen Jagielka
Baines - Rose Baines
Barry - Dier Barry
McCarthy - Dembélé Dembélé
Deulofeu - Son Deulofeu
Barkley - Alli Barkley
Mirallas - Eriksen Eriksen
Lukaku - Kane Either or
Approximate cost of the Everton team is around £69.5 million and approximate cost of the Spurs is £80.5 milllion so not too much difference financially and i see more similarities than differences when i look at the individuals in the two starting line-ups. In terms of progression that is where the similarities end as Spurs have proven this season to be a more cohesive unit whilst playing pretty much the same style of football as ourselves. This then brings into question is it that Pochettino is such a better manager than Bobby or is he better at improving players individually and collectively. All the rhetoric about history means absolutely nothing as we are dealing with the here and now, the here and now has already been pointed out on this post, Spurs have a chance of winning the league and we are rotting away in 12th, go figure!
Biggest difference is Spurs think and ACT like they are still a club that should expect to be finishing in the top 4 and a manager who doesn't live up to that is not kept, taken them a whilst but they seem to have got the right one now - and even when they didn't they still pushed the top 4 more consistently than we did
4. Spurs don't abuse their home-grown players.1.Spurs have a very good goalie
2.Spurs aren't afraid to mix it up. They have scored several goals this year via a long ball from the back, coupled with good movement up front.
3.Spurs have a defence that, first and foremost, defends.
Noticeable that the only difference in personnel is a goalkeeper. You can't help thinking that if Pochettino was in charge of Everton and Martinez was at Spurs, we would be 4th and they would be 12th.
What can Barkley do if there is no movement in front oh him, instead a packed crowd of Swansea players? Try and beat them all?Our fans get on players backs after multiple backwards passes which are symptomatic of a general lack of ideas or tactics. I don't think spurs fans would be so understanding if they were 12th in the table and playing the utter crap we are

No, he does back or sideways to create another angle. The players in front should be shuffling side to side to make openings and then offering.
