Desired Scientific Discoveries

His engine is in the public domain and is widely ridiculed as pseudoscience. An engine that breaks the laws of thermodynamics doesn't scream credibility and his myriad excuses to avoid it being looked at by any experts in the matter are the hallmark of a charlatan. There's a lot of money in oil but there's also a lot of money to be had by not being reliant upon the importation of oil. Why hasn't big oil crushed the electric car?

As for a scientific discovery I'd like some kind of machine that enables someone to accurately feel another persons pain or other physical sensation. It'd be great for diagnosing stuff. It'd also be good for calling out soft-arses and blaggers or alternatively encouraging empathy with genuine sufferers.

But most important would be it's applications in the world of porn.

Teleportation? Time travel?

When I was a kid I always wanted to go between two cities of the same name. So Paris, TX, and Paris (France) have an instant link between them

Sometime realistic (?) I'd like to see is sustainable battery tech that won't ruin the planet
Or maybe electronic devices that aren't filled with toxic metals that will be the ruin of our planet

I'm still waiting for my early 1950s individual rocket pack we were promised, to say nothing of my back to the future hover board.
Back then in the 50s I thought I'd be too old to go into space by the time it would happen. Then in1969 Armstrong landed on the moon at 40 something - turns out I was too young.

The third and fourth ones are close i believe.

The birth control passed its last test in March.

As for the tire i was reading a while back that Harvard have developed a material combined with rubber that can stop tires bursting. Using the self inflate tech they improved it i believe and then go further.

Speaking of the 1st one i wholeheartedly agree.

The city next to where i live Carlsbad turned an old water treatment facility into a desalination plant (or part of it). As it was expensive they then it sold water from it to neighboring cities to pay for the expensive treatment and build ( They only catch was those cities funded the pipe laying and subsequent pumping stations). Luckily the city i live in took the cost on and we are better for it.

1. Reverse osmosis. Exists.
2. Had it for donkeys years - also soluble plastics. The coop had biodegradable bags 5 years ago before the government's anti-plastic agenda was used to introduce a 5p stealth tax, which may supermarkets have now hiked to 20p (even for paper bags).

Beautifully illustrates how our government manipulates and programmes public thinking and acceptance of being bled dry.

3. I'd rather the 2 bricks than take such medication. I have enough trouble controlling my moobs.

4. There's an aerosol schmoo that can be squirted into the tyre that will self seal leaks. Available in supermarkets and motor factors.
