Tim Cahill and Mikel Arteta discuss Evertons last derby win in an exclusive interview for GOT.

I'm getting the impression they don't want us to be at the inaugural Merseyside derby between Everton and FC Big Stand....

That's all i can think of.

Seems the Everton ticket office is putting in as inept a performance as our players do when this fixture usually comes around.

How hard is it to agree the ticket details for this? I have a feeling the RS are going to go even further with their usual reduced allocation and we'll only get about 2,400-2,500 tickets for this.

You were right - the allocation is about 100 lower than last season. Joke.

In a 54,000 seater stadium too. It's about time the FA had a rethink about this BS 10% or 3,000 rule because they don't even apply that any more. Spurs have got away with only offering 2,400 in a 32,000 capacity (reduced from 36,000) this season. If the home club's Stadium isn't fit to allow the 3,000 or 10% allocation in their usual designated section, they should have to find alternative arrangements and their own fans be inconvenienced.

This is the way it used to be - back in the day in big FA Cup games there was a fixed amount for the away team (whether they took it was up to them) Home supporters had to get in early or miss out. Sometimes there would be a few 000 returned and you got a 2nd bit at the cherry.

but that was then.

BTW in response to people moaning about shareholders, I own a share (just one) and as far as I can tell there are absolutely no perks regarding away tickets, at least not for small shareholders. Believe me, I've looked. In fact I have yet to discover ANY perks for shareholders, except for a rather nice brochure that we got for free at the AGM.

State of the amount of tickets them rats have gave us, i've got 11 credits so may get lucky.

Its about time we took the Paddock seats off them for the derby considering all the bottles i had to dodge this season and all the missiles threw in the pitch. We're too soft for that though.
