Player Valuation: £100m
Cardiff have signed Scotland striker Ross McCormack from Motherwell and defender Darren Dennehy from Everton.

Dennehy, 19, was offered new terms by Everton but chose to move on. Republic of Ireland Under-21 international Dennehy graduated from the Goodison Park academy and can play at centre-back and in midfield.

"This is further evidence that we are putting together a squad that can compete to gain promotion to the Premier League," said Cardiff chairman Peter Risdale".

Another young player leaves, dont think we got any money for him, intresting that he was offered terms to sign but decided to leave.

Maybe the lad is more interested in a better shot of first team footie, even if it is in the championship. I suppose some big mouth will start a 'Joe Ledley to Everton' rumour now. Or Have I just become the big mouth:lol:

Or maybe he knows his level, and he isn't confident of breaking into the first team. So makes no odds to me that he's gone.

I actually have seen Darren Dennehy play quiet a bit this year, he is back home playing for Cork City. Shame it never worked out for him at Everton, i know he is only playing League of Ireland but he really look's a class act. I wouldn't be surprised if he goes back England. He might have just been a late developer ala Seamus Coleman, Shane Long and Kevin Doyle. Must be very hard for a young lad to leave home at an early age.
